My name is Terry Placker.

I’m a proud father of a daughter and a Marine Veteran, serving active duty from 2006 to 2014.

I am extremely proud to be the owner and founder of SEMPER SHIELD ROOFING & GENERAL CONTRACTING.

I have been in the roofing/construction industry for nearly a decade.

I pride myself on assisting my fellow homeowners, many realtors, insurance agents, and businesses with their roofing needs… both residential and commercial.

I’m Jordan Fields, a DFW Realtor with a background in construction and renovation, and a passion for protecting what matters most….YOUR home.

I began my career as an electrician, where I learned the value of quality workmanship and attention to detail, then went on to work at Lockheed Martin building the F-35 fighter jet, strengthening my discipline, precision, and commitment to excellence.

I later transitioned into real estate, specializing in buying, selling, and renovating distressed and outdated homes, while also actively investing in properties myself.

Through years of working directly with homeowners and overseeing renovations, I saw firsthand how critical a strong, reliable roof is in protecting a family’s largest investment.

That’s what led me into roofing…. to continue serving homeowners by helping them restore, improve, and safeguard their homes with honesty, integrity, and clear communication.

As a husband and father to a 12-year-old daughter, I understand how important trust and security are, and I’m committed to delivering exceptional service and real value to every homeowner I serve.

Dr. Frederick C. Sanders (a.k.a. Freddy) is a multi-hyphenate: creatorpreneur, award-winning designer, award-winning human development coach, AI specialist, & author.

Dr. Sanders completed his Ph.D. in professional coaching and human development from the International University of Professional Studies in 2022. He also proudly holds the prestigious ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential.

With 25+ years of graphic and web design experience, he continues to evolve and expand his creativity along with his inner development, serving hundreds of people and organizations globally.

Joe Cantu

My name is Joe Cantu, and my life has been built on faith, discipline, and perseverance. Raised in a military family, I learned the value of hard work, integrity, and accountability at an early age.

I had the opportunity to play professional basketball overseas before an Achilles injury changed my path. That journey led me into the health and fitness industry, where I spent over 20 years as an athlete, coach, and mentor, earning my IFBB Pro Card and competing on the Olympia stage. I also spent five years as a teacher, which strengthened my passion for leadership and helping others succeed.

For the past four years, I have built a career in the roofing industry, combining my experience in leadership, coaching, and service to help homeowners and develop successful teams.

Today, as Regional Vice President of Texas for Semper Shield Roofing & General Contracting⁠, my vision is to grow the company, develop leaders, create opportunities, and help others achieve financial freedom.

Above all, my faith in God is the foundation of everything I do, and my goal is to leave a lasting impact through service, leadership, and the communities I serve.

Terry is my go-to for all things roofing-related. I met him by chance because he moved into my neighborhood. Houses eventually need roof repairs so I called him up when some shingles went missing. He was able to patch up the roof with a short-term fix before coming back later with exact matching shingles. He's professional, quick, and straight-forward with everything. That was enough for me to call him again more recently when a hail storm took out both cars and required our roof to be fixed. This is the second time I've ever replaced a roof and it was by far the easiest because Terry knows what he's doing. He gets your insurance details and then handles it from there.

Dealing with everything required to get a roof replaced is quite time-consuming, but Terry makes it look easy and relays only what requires a signature or otherwise has to come directly from the policy owner. He's seen it all so is good at answering the typical questions most people have. The icing on the cake was the recommendation he gave for impact-resistant shingles, which is pretty much essential in Texas these days. Cheaper companies cut corners everywhere they can, but Terry delivers a quality product with quality service.
